The purpose of this site is to act as a secure clearinghouse for coin collectors to upload & exchange their wantlists and lists of extras.
We don't want these lists or our email addresses exposed for the whole world to see. So, I have inserted a layer of communication to ensure that only collectors (and not bots) can upload/download lists.
Like Numista this site is designed for collectors, not dealers. However, I have no real objection to participation from well-behaved dealers. I love Numista, and use it all the time. I have also made some trades there. But Numista only allows trades - no sales. This makes it difficult for new collectors, who have nothing to offer. It also makes it virtually impossible for advanced collectors, who are looking for a very specific coin. This site does not have that restriction. All we do is connect someone with a wantlist to someone with an extras list. It is up to you to arrange the trade or sale.
This site went live on May 22, 2025. At this time, the only list available is my own list of extras. When filling out the request form, be sure to ask for the extras list for mingovia.
If you want to upload your wantlist, first request the "wantlist template". All of the wantlists have to be in the same format so I can run an automated comparison of wantlists vs. extras lists. Similarly, if you want to upload your extras list, first request the "extras template".
Your information, including name and email address, will NOT be shared with anyone without your specific approval.
